Proverbs 10:7<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According\nto this verse, the way you are remembered after your death has everything to do\nwith how you live your life now.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nmemory of the just is blessed but the name of the wicked shall rot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s\nsee if that is true. Compare the memories associated with these following names\nand tell me which are blessed and which are rotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1^{st<\/sup>\ncol.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2^{nd<\/sup> col.<\/p>\n\n\n\n}}

Cain\nand Abel<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pharaoh\nand Moses<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saul\nand David<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jezebel\nand Abigail<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Judas\nand Peter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pilate\nand Cornelius<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Satan\nand Jesus <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\ndon\u2019t hear of anyone named after someone in the first column but you hear a\nnumber of people named after those in the second column \u2013 that\u2019s because the\nmemories associated with the names in the second column are blessed memories\nand the memories associated with the names in the first column have rotted!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\nsee, how these folks lived their lives in their lifetimes affected the memories\nassociated with their names for eternity \u2013 Abel was righteous \u2013 Moses was meek\nand a friend of God \u2013 David was a man after God\u2019s own heart \u2013 Abigail was of\ngood understanding and of a beautiful countenance \u2013 Peter loved Jesus \u2013\nCornelius feared God \u2013 and Jesus did always those things that pleased God<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On\nthe other hand, the folks with the rotten names had rotten lives \u2013 Cain\u2019s works\nwere evil \u2013 Pharaoh was hard hearted [he that being often reproved hardeneth\nhis neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy] \u2013 Saul was\nstubborn and rebellious and rejected the word of the Lord \u2013 Jezebel was an\nidolater and a murderer \u2013 Judas betrayed the Lord Jesus Christ \u2013 Pilate\ncondemned an innocent man \u2013 and Satan is a deceiver who is full of pride \u2013 all\nof them rotten names!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How\nwill they remember you?\u00a0 It all depends on how you live your life \u2013 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\ndeciding factors are based on the decisions you make and the actions you take\nin the following areas <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nRighteousness of God \u2013 like Cain or Abel \u2013 is it right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nPleasure of God \u2013 like Pharaoh or Moses \u2013 does it please God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nWord of God \u2013 like Saul or David \u2013 is it according to the word of God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nWorship of God \u2013 like Jezebel or Abigail \u2013 does it honor God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nLove of God \u2013 like Judas or Peter \u2013 is it out of love for God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nFear of God \u2013 like Pilate or Cornelius \u2013 is it in the fear of God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nWill of God \u2013 like Satan or Jesus \u2013 is it the will of God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ask\nthose 7 questions of anything you do before you do it \u2013 your answer will\ndetermine how you are remembered in eternity!!!<\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
