A Man and His Soul<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir\u201d (Isaiah 13: 12).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?\u201d (Mark 8:36). The<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Redeeming Blood of Christ<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cForasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot\u201d (1 Peter 1: 18-19).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Inspired Word of God<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201d \u2026 the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb\u201d (Psalm 19:9-10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wisdom and Understanding<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHappy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold\u201d (Proverbs 3:13-14).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Knowledge of God<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cReceive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold\u201d (Proverbs 8: 1 0).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Good Name<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold\u201d (Proverbs 22: 1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Trial of Your Faith<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201d \u2026 ye greatly rejoice \u2026 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ\u201d (1 Peter 1 :6-7).<\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
