\u201cTherefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:\u201d<\/strong> Romans 5:1<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This verse gives the theme of the book of Romans. It was justification by faith <\/em>that grabbed Martin Luther by the heart and launched the Reformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. ^{\u00a0<\/sup>For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.\u201d<\/strong> Romans 5:8-10<\/p>\n\n\n\n}
A great memory passage. Verse eight is commonly used as a Roman\u2019s Road verse, but why not also use verses nine and ten, especially since verse nine includes the blood?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.\u201d<\/strong> Romans 5:13<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This verse goes well with Romans 4: 15, \u201c<\/strong>Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is<\/em> no transgression.\u201d<\/strong> Young children don\u2019t have to worry about going to hell because \u201csin is not imputed when there is no law.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
^{\u201c<\/sup><\/strong>For as by one man\u2019s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.\u201d<\/strong> Romans 5:19<\/p>\n\n\n\n}
This verse is the most logical verse in the Bible. It\u2019s perfectly logical that if Adam\u2019s sin can condemn everyone, then Christ\u2019s righteousness can save everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFor the wages of sin is<\/em> death; but the gift of God is<\/em> eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.\u201d<\/strong> Romans 6:23<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here\u2019s another good Romans Road verse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the of Christ, he is none of his.\u201d<\/strong> Romans 8:9<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Spirit of God is the Spirit of Christ, and every Christian has this Spirit (Eph. 4:30), \u201c<\/strong>And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.\u201d<\/strong> The Charismatics who teach that one needs to receive the \u201cHoly Ghost\u201d after being saved are false teachers.<\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
