Text: Prov 16:20<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intro:
- In this study, we\u2019re going to talk about four results of trusting God.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n
  - You\u2019ll be happy<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013Prov 16:20<\/a>, whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    You\u2019re happy first from getting saved.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    Psa 144:15<\/a> says, happy is that people whose God is the Lord.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    And then you\u2019ll be happy from trusting God each day for direction (Prov 3:5-6<\/a>), for correction (Job 5:17<\/a>), for wisdom (Prov 3:13), and even for suffering (1 Pet 3:14<\/a>).\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n
    \n
    This is the first of the results of trusting God.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    You\u2019ll be fat<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013Prov 28:25<\/a>, he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    You\u2019ll be fat and happy.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    Fat is an expression of sufficiency.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    Psa 37:3<\/a> says, Trust in the Lord, and do good;\u00a0so<\/em>\u00a0shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n
    \n
    \u00a0In Isa 58:11<\/a>, after fasting properly, the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    In the coming months and years, we may experience times of hunger and thirst like Paul did, 2 Cor 11:27<\/a>.\u00a0
    Nevertheless, spiritually we will be fat.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled, Matt 5:6<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    When you believe on Jesus, the bread of life, you never hunger and thirst, John 6:35<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    When you believe on Jesus, you drink living water and you never thirst, John 4:14<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n
    \n
    Instead, \u201cout of his belly shall flow rivers of living water\u201d, John\u00a0 7:38<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    You\u2019ll be safe<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013Prov 29:25<\/a>, whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    \u00a0 Psa 115:11<\/a> \u2026trust in the Lord, he is their help and their shield.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    These times in which we live are getting worse.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n
    \n
    How vital it is for us to know that we can trust the Lord to keep us safe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    For instance, our prayer for the servants of God who have remained in Ukraine is that the Lord will keep them safe despite the bombings and attacks.\n
    \n
    May they be assured of safety like David in Psa 3:5-7<\/a> and Psa 4:8<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    You\u2019ll be blessed<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013Jer 17:7<\/a>, Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. \u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    Contrast the man in Jer 17:5<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    Cursed is the man that trutsteth in man.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man, Psa 118:8<\/a>, or than to put confidence in princes, Psa 118:9<\/a>.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n
    \n
    Men will let you down, betray you, hurt you, disappoint you, frustrate you, and many times this happens just because they are trying to protect themselves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    In Jer 17:8<\/a>, on the other hand, for the man that trusts in the Lord, his leaf is green in heat, and he\u2019s not careful in drought.\u00a0
    We covered this under \u201cfat\u201d, above.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    The verse goes on to say, \u201cneither shall cease from yielding fruit\u201d.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>
    Men who trust the Lord are fruitful in difficult seasons.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n
    \n
    They continue to bear the fruit of Spirit, the fruit of the word, and the fruit of souls led to the Lord Jesus Christ through their testimony and witness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    Conclusion:\n

    These are four results of trusting God that we pray will encourage you to trust him or trust him more than you already do.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
