{"id":4546,"date":"2026-10-16T19:05:53","date_gmt":"2026-10-16T19:05:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/allthecounselofgod.com\/?p=4546"},"modified":"2026-10-16T19:05:59","modified_gmt":"2026-10-16T19:05:59","slug":"a-learned-righteous-tongue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/allthecounselofgod.com\/index.php\/2026\/10\/16\/a-learned-righteous-tongue\/","title":{"rendered":"A Learned Righteous Tongue"},"content":{"rendered":"<body>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Text<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/Isaiah-50-4\/\">Isa 50:4<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Intro<\/strong>:<ul><li>In the prior Lessons we studied the unruly tongue and its wicked manifestations.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>In this lesson we will continue our study on a good tongue and its various scriptural manifestations.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>A good tongue is a<\/em><\/strong><em>:<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Learned tongue<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/Isaiah-50-4\/\">Is 50:4<\/a> \u2013 \u201cthe Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned.\u201d\u00a0<ul><li>This is a reference to Jesus Christ and how he learned from his Father.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>According to the scholars of their day, the disciples were ignorant and unlearned men [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/Acts-4-13\/\">Acts 4:13<\/a>]. \u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>However, because they had been with Jesus they were learned in the same way that Jesus learned by having fellowship with his Father every morning.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>You can learn the same way.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>You don\u2019t need to be a scholar to be learned [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/Luke-10-21\/\">Lk 10:21<\/a>].\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>You just need to know God and HIS words.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>That way you can speak as the oracles of God [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/1-Peter-4-11\/\">1 Pet 4:11<\/a>].\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When Jesus spoke he spoke as one having authority, and not as the scribes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Righteous tongue<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/Psalms-35-28\/\">Psa 35:28<\/a> \u2013 \u201cmy tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long,\u201d [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/Psalms-71-24\/\">Psa 71:24<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/Psalms-119-172\/\">Psa 119:172<\/a>].\u00a0<ul><li>\u00a0Imagine speaking of God\u2019s righteousness all day.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>If you would you would always be speaking things that are right and true.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>The news is rarely right and true.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Reporters and media outlets are in such a hurry to tell the new events that they don\u2019t have all the facts.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>By the time they have enough facts to report, people are already tired of the story and they have moved on.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>We don\u2019t want to be like that.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>\u00a0Let\u2019s say things that bring praise and honor to the Lord.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It\u2019s not how the world judges what you say;
